If you talk to any local REALTOR they'll tell you the market seems to be off to a great start this Spring, but one of the numbers that we're watching is increased sales in a somewhat higher price range than last year.
The chart above offers a year-over-year comparison of home sales in Nelson by price range (May numbers are incomplete at this point. From this analysis we can see that home sales in the $400K-$500K AND $500K-$600K ranges have more than doubled from this time last year. Granted, these numbers are taken from a relatively small market sample, but we have noticed an increase in Buyer traffic for this market segment.
