Tad is a life-long resident of Nelson and is deeply involved in the community, offering his assistance as a past board member and vice chair of Kootenay Kids Society, assisting with local food charities and numerous years coaching in the Nelson Youth Soccer Association. Tad, his wife Tammie and 2 girls Emma and Paityn, love to ski at the local Whitewater Ski Hill, camp in the many provincial campgrounds on the Kootenay and Arrow Lakes, ride their bikes along the many trails and old railway beds, boat on Kootenay Lake and hike up to Pulpit Rock and enjoy the views of the lake and city below.
